Mr. Herlihy is a Managing Director at Cascadia Capital and co-leads the firm’s Private Capital business. Prior to joining Cascadia, Mr. Herlihy was Chief Investment Officer of Istithmar – an investment arm of the Government of Dubai. Previously, he was a Managing Director of IFIL USA – the US investment vehicle of the Agnelli Family of Italy.

Prior to IFIL, Mr. Herlihy spent 16 years with Lehman Brothers in New York and London where he was a Managing Director and a Principal of Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking (LBMB). Prior to joining LBMB in 1995 to focus exclusively on private equity investing, Mr. Herlihy spent 10 years as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers where he worked on a wide variety of corporate finance and M&A transactions.

Mr. Herlihy began his professional career in New York at Fred Alger Management where he was a Senior Portfolio Analyst. He previously served on the boards of Bumrungrad Hospital, ESPA International, Gulf Stream Asset Management, IFIL USA, ML (Bermuda) Ltd. (Observer), Peabody Energy, SpiceJet (Observer) and SR Technics. Mr. Herlihy holds an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was a Samuel Bronfman Fellow and an A.B. magna cum laude in Economics from Harvard College.
