Scott A. Myers is Chairman and CEO of Hycroft Advisors and Co-Founder and Managing Director of Hycroft Capital based in New York. Mr. Myers has over twenty-two years of experience in the financial services sector.

Prior to Hycroft, Mr. Myers co-founded Cogent Partners in January 2002. During his tenure, Cogent Partners became the global market leader in the sale and restructuring of illiquid investments into the secondary market completing over 4,600 secondary transactions representing over $108 billion in transaction value (a market share of approximately 50%).

Cogent was sold to Greenhill & Co. in April 2015. Previously, he was a Director at Crossroads Group (now Neuberger Berman). Mr. Myers began his career as a Management Consultant at Bain & Co where he specialized in corporate strategy and private equity engagements.

Mr. Myers holds a BA in International Relations and History from The University of British Columbia, an MA in International Affairs from Columbia University, and an MA in Philosophy from Oxford University.
